The Dark Side of Social Networking

A BBC article says that ten people were arrested in Brazil after they were found to be using Orkut, Google’s online community and social networking site, to put together drug deals.

While many online communities gush about the real-world business deals their members have been able to put together, I doubt if Google will be featuring this one in a press release. A statement by Google noted that this appeared to be a violation of their terms of service. (“Brazilians Jailed for TOS Violation,” perhaps? :) )
